If you are looking for employment, or currently work in, venues that have gaming of any nature you should do the RGS course. Though the course is not mandatory as yet, it is still highly sort after by employers because it demonstrates a higher degree of knowledge of the industry than other job applicants. As well, most State governments have announced that such a course will become mandatory soon.
The course will show you the skills and knowledge required to provide responsible gambling services. As well as information for customers who require assistance with their problem gambling.
The course is highly recommended for people working as, or seeking employment as, bar or wait staff in venues with gaming (including TAB and KENO). As well as all positions inside a casino.
